Whole Roasted Pumpkin Soup

Ingredients
1 whole pumpkin
1 L stock
1 medium brown onion, cut into large chunks
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp. coconut oil (or any other cooking fat of choice)
1-1/2 tsp curry powder
1 tsp each cumin and ground coriander
Grated fresh ginger/turmeric (optional)
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 can coconut cream (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
